My First Christmas

Ava had a big first Christmas. It started Christmas Eve when she helped mommy spread reindeer food for Santa's reindeer then went to bed in anticipation for Santa. She woke up very happy and was excited to see what all Santa had left for her. She had obviously been a good girl. You see her pictured with Daddy sitting on her new toybox that Dr. Schmidt made for her and Daddy stained for her. She then went to Nanna and Pap's where she got her first rocking horse that makes horse noises and plays music along with many clothes, toys, and other needed items (food in her stocking). After Nanna's, she went to Mamaw and Papaw's where she was spoiled again. It was all about watching Ava, being that it was her first Christmas. She was more about the paper and bows. She ended the day and Grandma and Grandpa's. Pictured is Aunt Kay and Cousin Dylan. Also you see cousin Faith who is very excited about the Wowee Alive Lion that Ava gave her for Christmas.

My first cheerleading competition

I went to my first cheerleading competition to watch my friend Brooke cheer. She cheers for the Granite Falls Blue Demons. They won first place. I did not mind all the noise. I even took an hour nap during the middle of the competition.

Look at my teeth

You can see my three bottom teeth in this picture. I began cutting my top four teeth the two weeks around Christmas. They have been really hard for me and make me want to bite things, including mommy (I got in trouble for that).

Trying to take Christmas Card pictures

Ava is very mobile now and did not want to sit still so that we could take her picture for our Christmas cards. We probably took over 50 pictures just to get the two we needed.

Watching and riding in my first Parades

Ava watch her first parade with her cousin Brock and then she rode in the Hudson parade with mommy and mommy's friend Cathy.

My friend Julia Lauren

Over Thanksgiving, I met my friend Julia Lauren for the first time. I am two weeks older than her. Our daddies went to college together and were roommates. Our mommies have since become good friends as well. They love to go shopping together. We have so much playing together.
